Yokota Pearls' Selection
The most differnt thing from other gem stones, there are no generated grading
standard for pearls in the world.
Our AA may be AAA at our shops. Also, each of pearl grades are not pinpointed
but range. Therefore, for example, AA can be divided into some grades.
Assuming that there are 2 strands in AA quality (same size) at different
prices. One is $1800, the other is $2000. In this case, you may think $1800
one is a good buy, but $2000 one may be higher in quaity. If the quality
differnce is larger than the price difference, $2000 one is reasonable
in fact. That is why comparison cost does not make sense when selectiong
pearls.
By above reasons, so far, even certificates by laboratory is not absolute.
We select pearls by our professional eyes without relyng on certificate.
But of course we can get Hanadama Certificate for your information and
reassurance.
When you compare our pearls with others only by "size and price",
our pearls are not the lowest in price, but by "size, price, and Quality",
we are convinced you are satisfied with our price.
There are many of pearls sold at discounted prices, but genuine and authentic
quality pearls are not sold at discounted prices because it costs time
and money to cultivate, as well as the appearance ratio is not high.
As Japanese Akoya Pearl is cultivated in Japan, almost all of pearl suppliers
in outside of Japan buy the pearls from some exporters in Japan. The best
way to get Japanese Akoya Pearl is to buy the pearls from Japanese pearl
