Did you know?

Always, it is said that "selecting pearl starts from selecting shop". Now is the time to realize about the phrase once again.

Different from other gem stones, there are not any generated grading standard for pearls in the world.
In addition to above, there are some "very important things" as listed below.

  • No one can distinguish "Japanese Akoya" from "Other Originated Akoya" (Chinese, Vietnamese etc) even Lab.
  • No one can differentiate between "South Sea Pearl" from "Akoya Pearl" even Lab.
  • Hanadama Certificate does not guarantee the pearls are "Japanese" Akoya.
  • No one can appraise if the pearl is "Natural" or "Slightly Enhanced".
  • Almost all of "Natural White Akoya" are too much bleached, and the pearl layers are weaken (easy to fade).

In the future, when assured test technology is developed, can you assume all of responsibilities for all of the products you ever sold?

As of now, the only thing you can trust is "confidence of seller". Only sellers know the background of the pearl.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of pearls in the market as follows.

  • Chinese or Other Originated Akoya sold as "Japanese Akoya".
  • Chinese or Other Originated Akoya with Hanadama Certificate.
  • South Sea Pearl sold as "Japanese Akoya" even with certificate by Lab that says "Akoya Pearl".
(Especially 9.5mm and 10mm, the amount of crop and the amount in the market do not accord.)
  • Slightly Enhanced Pearl sold as "Natural Color" Pearl even with certificate by Lab that says "Natural Color".
  • "Japanese Akoya Strand" made of "Unidentified Akoya" and "South-Sea" or/and "Freshwater Pearl".

Our prices are not "the lowest", but that doesn't mean our prices are overpriced. We always offer the best prices.
But unfortunately, we can't compete against those of doubtful pearls.

Do you think genuine precious object can be sold in cheap price?
Cheap price and Quality can not go together. This is the " Truth of Pearl".

As we are located in Japan, we always notice any information about such doubtful pearls, and can know the background of each pearls we deal.

And as we never deal such doubtful pearls, we disclose above information.

Consider again. If you think the most important thing is clear background and true quality, we are willing to help you.
But the most important thing for you is "cheap price", we can not help you.
